A prototype of MIX-m called Electroscape 002 was created by fabric | ch for the biennal Version (Inhabitable Image) which took place at MAMCO and at Centre for Contemporary Image in Geneva from October 31 2002 to January 19, 2003. Simon Lamunière was the curator of the biennal. He invited Heimo Zobernig, the Austrian artist, to create an original artwork which would exist in both spaces: phyiscal and digital.
